Her poetry has been nominated for The Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. Her nonfiction essay about being a working flight attendant on 9\/11 was published in \u003cem\u003eThe Threepenny Review\u003c\/em\u003e and earned a Pushcart Honorable Mention. Idaho born, she has lived temporarily in Virginia for more than twenty years and still isn’t used to the humidity. She has been a flight attendant for most of her adult life and is still surprised by this fact. She is mother to two boys and finds parenthood to be a perplexing, sometimes terribly beautiful, gamble of her heart.
